After studies in Art History and Archaeology, he worked for several years as a radio producer and as organizer of the International Jazz Festival in Ouagadougou, International Festival of Freedom of Expression and Press, Human Rights and Freedom of Expression Film Festival. Diallo was one of the founding members of Semfilms Association through which he coordinated Ciné Droit Libre. As a filmmakers, he realized three successful documentaries: Borry Bana: The Fatal Destiny Of Norbert Zongo, TV War and On The Traces of Bembeya Jazz. Since 1998, Diallo has become Manager of the National Press Centre of Norbert Zongo.
